Homeobox protein Nkx2.2 contains a homeobox domain and may be involved in the morphogenesis of the central nervous system. It is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in the control of cell fate specification and differentiation in many tissues. In the developing central nervous system, this developmentally important transcription factor functions as a transcriptional repressor that governs oligodendrocyte (OL) differentiation and myelin gene expression.
Flow cytometric analysis of 4% PFA fixed 90% methanol permeabilized C6 (Rat glial tumor glial cell) labelling NKX2.2 antibody at 1/500 dilution (0.1 μg) / (Red) compared with a Rabbit monoclonal IgG (Black) isotype control and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody) (Blue). Goat Anti - Rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor® 488 was used as the secondary antibody.

Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
