  • SF2, also known as ASF/SF2, is a human protein that plays a crucial role in pre-mRNA splicing. It is an essential factor necessary for all splices and also functions as an alternative splicing factor, capable of influencing splice site selection. SF2 is involved in the selection and utilization of splice sites by spliceosomes, likely through interactions with exonic and intronic enhancer sequences.

The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
