Cardiac Troponins T (cTnT), Chinese name cardiac troponin T subunit, cardiac troponin I subunit and cardiac troponin C subunit constitute cardiac troponin complex. CTnT is mainly expressed in cardiomyocytes and a small amount in skeletal striated muscle, which can regulate the interaction between actin and myosin mediated by calcium. The content of cTnT in serum can sensitively and specifically reflect myocardial injury, so cTnT is used as a standard biochemical marker for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction and the first biomarker for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
