IL-10 is an anti-inflammatory cytokine that maintains the balance of the immune response, allowing the clearance of infection while minimizing damage to the host. IL-10 can also dampen the harmful immune responses elicited in autoimmunity and allergy. Many different types of cells can produce IL-10, with the major source of IL-10 varying in different tissues or during acute or chronic stages of the same infection.

IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human spleen. Anti-IL-10 antibody was used at 1/2000 dilution, followed by a HRP Polymer for Mouse & Rabbit IgG (ready to use). Counterstained with hematoxylin. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9.0 was performed before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human lung.
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human stomach.
