Thyroid transcription factor 1 (TTF-1), also known as NKX2-1, is the term preferred by pathologists for this protein; it is also widely used in immunohistochemistry for identifying thyroid or lung as sites of origin for tumours of unknown primary sites.
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human lung. Anti-TTF-1 antibody was used at 1/1000 dilution, followed by a HRP Polymer for Mouse & Rabbit IgG (ready to use).
